This June, football touched down in paradise…and made it unforgettable.
From June 16–19, 2025, the Los Angeles Rams hosted their first-ever mandatory NFL minicamp on the lush shores of Maui. They called it Maui Camp, and it was every bit as dreamy as it sounds.
Wrapped in palm trees and ocean breeze, the Rams didn’t just run drills, they showed what it means to lead with intention. Partnering with the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority, the team brought the island more than just football. They brought visibility, energy, and a whole lot of heart…especially in the wake of the devastating 2023 wildfires that reshaped lives across Maui.
A New Kind of Training Camp
Maui Camp made NFL history as the league’s first mandatory minicamp hosted in Hawaiʻi. But this wasn’t just football in paradise…it was purpose in motion.
Rams Mini Camp Public Access and Ticketing
On June 18, fans have their chance to witness the action live. A public on-field session at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku gives attendees a front-row seat to elite-level training with a Maui breeze. Tickets were free but limited, with a May 9 pre-sale for Maui County residents and general availability starting May 22. Because sometimes, the best moments are best shared at home first.
Rams Community Engagement and Youth Clinics
Heart is at the center of everything. On June 17, the Rams will host girls’ flag football and boys’ football clinics for 400 local student-athletes. The following day, the team will turn up the fun with a PLAY 60 Field Day for children ages 5–12 enrolled in Maui’s PALS (Play and Learn Sessions) summer program.
The energy? Pure joy. Empowering the next generation never looked so good.
Rams are Supporting Lahaina’s Recovery
But the Rams aren’t stop at football. They are rolling up their sleeves in Lahaina, one of the hardest-hit areas during the 2023 wildfires. Working side by side with Habitat for Humanity, players, coaches, and staff to help rebuild four homes for families still finding their way forward.
Rams are Partnering with Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority
At the heart of it all is a strategic, soulful collaboration with the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority. HTA serves as the presenting sponsor of the Rams’ offseason content and helping to create a year-long, global activation. Think bigger: a Rams home game at SoFi Stadium sponsored by HTA, and even a marketing campaign in Japan to help connect Hawaiʻi with a global audience. Yes, football—but make it international, intentional, and irresistible.
A Whole New Playbook for the Rams
Maui Camp redefines what an NFL offseason can look like. Athleticism meets generosity. Training meets tourism. Style meets soul. It wasn’t just sexy—it was smart, spirited, and deeply human.
As the Rams head into the 2025 season, they leave behind more than footprints in the sand. They leave a legacy of love, leadership, and island magic that will echo long past the final play.
